Broadlands B&B is Situated in Chideock, Which Lies Between Bridport to the East and Lyme Regis to the West.

The beach at Seatown is just a short 15 minute walk away, with a lovely pebbled beach and lots of fossils waiting to be found! The Anchor Inn pub is right on the water’s edge and has probably one of the best pub views in the UK!

From Broadlands, you can easily walk to Seatown across signposted fields and if you climb the hills towards Eype, you will soon stumble across the quirky Downhouse Farm Cafe where you can stop for a bite to eat or just a drink in their stunning courtyard garden. Further along the coast at Burton Bradstock, you can find the renowned Hive Beach Cafe and their sister cafe at West Bay, The Watch House. All are within walking
distance along the stunning World Famous Jurassic Coast.

Set just a mile from West Bay is the bustling market town of Bridport with many interesting shops, restaurants, pubs and tea rooms. It has a thriving Street market on Saturdays and Wednesdays, vintage market days and a monthly farmers’ market.

In the other direction is Charmouth, which is world famous for its fossils formed within Jurassic rocks 200 million years ago. The best finds can be found around the cliffs but check out The Heritage Coast Centre just above the fossil shop for good advice and tips on fossil hunting.
